Theism, Atheism, Pantheism -Vol II

R90.00

In this volume, we shall seek to formulate the definition of God and to advance a succinct but significant argument for the existence of God. Both these subjects are worthy of exhaustive consideration because they are fundamental to all other theological studies. The term “God” has been so misused that we need to restore to it its original meaning in Christian thought. The term “theism” is used in four different senses. Yet only one of these is really agreeable.

Description

The Christian versus secular worldview issue must be recognized, understood, and confronted. From the perspective of Christian theism, a clash of worldviews also assumes a crucial role in the hidden spiritual battle between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of darkness, in which the very truth of things are at stake. Between these regimes, a conflict of epic proportion lingers in furious rage for the minds and hearts, and thus, the lives and destinies, of all men and women, all the time. Subsequently, nothing could be of greater final importance than the way human beings understand the theistic worldview of God, themselves, the cosmos, and their place in it.
