Description
God’s method of redemption was through the seed of the woman (Gen.3:15). The redeemer was to be born of a woman, born under the law (Gal. 4:4). He needed to be both human and divine so that he might be the mediator between man and God and reconcile man to God. Reconciliation could only be accomplished through the incarnation, God being made flesh. Volume 7 analysis the various historical views of the person of Christ as well as a brief study of his pre-incarnate state. His incarnation, humiliation, the purpose and nature of the incarnation, the two natures possessed by Christ, the work of his death, resurrection, ascension, and exaltation.
